The In Between Season...

I had an odd day today. I spent the morning shopping for cashmere sweaters and brown riding boots. In the afternoon I went in search of some spring essentials. Most people hate this time of year, the in between season,  winter hasn't quite disappeared, spring just isn't here yet. I'll admit it can result in some major wardrobe malfunctions, but I love it. I love to mix and match, to experiment, to contrast, to contradict. Below, I've photographed my recent purchases, a strange mix but they seem to go together all the same. The perfect antidote to mid season blues, at least I hope so anyway.

So light, perfect with a oatmeal cardi and a pair of houlihans.
